Yes! The basic analysis methods of emap sound analysis are on physical level. Therefore it is possible to analyze all sounds. |

Can I printout the graphics? |

All graphics can printed either directly to the printer in high quality or stored to the clipboard or as a BMP file for further work. |

Do I need a special technical training to understand emap sound analysis? |

No! You should understand what a waveform or a spectrogram is. Most of the analysis parameters are set automatic as default. |

Do I need a special hardware to run emap sound analysis? |

No! emap sound analysis runs on all computers with Win9x/NT/XP and a standard soundcard. To have a studio quality you should use a digital soundcard and an external AD converter (f.i. SD or DAT recorder). |

Can I work also with sound files from other computer platforms? |
A:

Yes! emap sound analysis can open WAV, AIFF and AU/SND files from 8 to 24 bit. Sound files with unknown headers can be defined by sampling frequency, bytes per sample and number of channels. Compressed sound files are currently not supported. |
